Registration of a representative office of a foreign organization

In accordance with the requirements of the legislation, foreign commercial enterprises and non-commercial organizations have the right to engage in their activities in Ukraine exclusively through their separate branches or representative offices. These structures do not have the right of a legal entity, although they have their own seal and bank account, which allows them to perform some functions inherent to parent organizations.

Representative offices of foreign organizations

Official registration of a representative office of a foreign organization on the territory of Ukraine is carried out through the Ministry of Economic Development, where the documents for accreditation must be submitted within six months from the date of issue by the state to whose jurisdiction the foreign company belongs. After submitting the package of documents required for registration of the representative office, the applicant must pay the state duty. • official certificate of registration of the representative office of the established sample, which will indicate the registration number of the representative office, its official name, the number of full-time personnel from foreigners, the location of the main representative office and its branches;
• certificate of fiscal authorities of Ukraine and tax registration, if the representative office of a non-resident is engaged in commercial activities.
